The Playroom Area

Our playroom area operates as a drop in for parents and carers to join in with the activities provided. We ask for a small donation for tea & coffee (staff will make this for you) and there are facilities for heating up children’s bottle or food.

We encourage all our users to take part in our under five’s forum which involves regular informal meeting to share ideas and offer suggestions about under five’s provision.

During opening hours we provide an opportunity for children to carry out art work such as painting, drawing, cutting and pasting or Playdoh. There are also puzzles, games, musical instruments and a variety of creative toys. We have a home play corner with dressing-up clothes for role play. We also have toys and facilities for babies.

We provide families with regular recreational and educational trips which could include trips to the seaside, theatre, and National parks etc.
